The Sunshine Fabric (ROUROUROU) process is a printing process in which a corrosive chemical is printed on the surface of a fabric composed of two or more fibers by drying and treating a certain fiber component to form a pattern. Generally used for velvet fabrics. This pattern or unevenness is orderly or translucent and decorative. It is also possible to add a suitable tolerant dye to the printing paste to color the other component fiber while rotting off one of the fiber components to obtain a color burnt effect.

Sunshine Fabric was originally used for silk and its fabrics, such as burnt silk, velvet, and burnt velvet, followed by burnt polyester/cotton fabrics and other fabrics. Burnt-out fabrics are made by interweaving or blending two different fibers, one of which can be destroyed by a chemical, while the other is unaffected, thus forming a special style of burnt-out print.

Usually, acid-resistant fibers such as silk, nylon, polyester and other fibers are interwoven or blended into a fabric with cellulose fibers such as viscose fiber and cotton. The dye is printed with a strong acid substance. After drying, the cellulose is hydrolyzed and charred by strong acid. After washing with water, a pattern having a translucent texture and unevenness is obtained. With the return of fashion, burnt-out designs are often used in a large number of decorative fabrics and fabrics such as curtains, bedspreads, and tablecloths.
